Colorado Springs fire

Things are really scary in my hometown of Colorado Springs.  Friends who still live in town tell me that it looks like hell on earth.  My brother-in-law is a police officer in town who has been helping evacuate neighborhoods.  People are so scared.  He tells me that the fire is burning at more than 3000 degrees so trees are not burning, but exploding.  Looking at this picture, flames appear to tower thousands of feet over the city, and the entire city is blanketed under a mushroom cloud of smoke.  My parents live what is, for now, well south of the fire.  Do have all the firefighters and all those effected in your prayers.

A view of the Colorado Springs fire, sent to me from a friend who lives there.
