Lecture on the Nicene Creed

This Monday (Oct 24) from 6:30-8:00 I will be giving a lecture on the Nicene Creed at the St. Thomas Aquinas parish. My talk will cover the basics, focusing on the meaning of the Creed and its 12 articles. I will also offer some comment on what the new translation of the Missal means for the creed. All are welcome, though I note that this is part of a Catholic education program and is not a philosophical event.

About Kleiner

Associate Vice Provost and Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Utah State University. I teach across the curriculum, but am most interested in continental philosophy, ancient and medieval philosophy as well as Catholic thought, all of which might be summed up as an interest in the ressourcement tradition (returning in order to make progress). I also enjoy spending time thinking about liberal education and its ends.
